So here is my report for my week in Canada this past week. I just C&P from the site I originally posted it on....

Welp, Here is my report for the week.

First off, I had a great time and can't thank Jim & Sue enough for letting me stay with them for the week. I thoroughly enjoyed the company throughout the week. I had a good net man for the week(Thanks Corey!.... :D ), and not to mention great suppers everynight prepared by Sue. The fishing was still a little tough this week, the walleye just didn't seem to be wanting bottom bouncers, and the musky I think were just starting to semi-turn on towards the end of the week. The pike were descent I suppose, but from what I understand....still not "the norm". But even though the fishing was still sort-of tough, like I said, I still had a great week with great company. Anyways, Here are a few of my pics from the week....

Can you tell I had been up for almost 36 hours in this pic? First fish of the week BTW...

Friday evening me and Corey went out and tried to switch up our tactics a little bit(again with the Smithwick Rogue)....first cast, I nailed a small smallmouth, within the next 5-6 casts we had these next three fish in the boat....

Anyways, That pretty much sums up what i've got. I know Corey still has a ton of photos to post up. But again, I had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year.

Awesome report Bubba! That place is beautiful WOW!

Glad you had a good time and returned home safe!

That little dink bass you caught just seems so out of place with those big fish you caught!

Great Job Bubba! I was wondering how the trip went. Sounds like a good time was had by all! Great Pics... thanks for posting!

Howd you do with the drive?

The trip up was rough until I met a couple that I followed up the rest of the way(about 4-5hours)...Following them up the rest of the way kinda gave me something to focus on. Plus we stopped for breakfast and that gave me a nice break as well. Note to anyone ever going into Canada....Pepper Spray isn't allowed  , I got turned around at the border in order to "get rid of it", ....which with the detours from the construction on I75, took about 45 extra minutes to chuck it, and get back to Customs.

The trip back wasn't bad, I drove about 8hrs to a buddies house which lives just about an hour north of the border in canada. I spent the night at his house, got up that morning and fished for a few hours(no luck) before I left out on my way home. From his house, I only had about 9hours remaining to get home.

Looks like a good time. I would love to make a Canada trip one of these days.

I have a question... Who is this Ni character and why is he so disgruntled with Canada?

I know, I have a warped sense of humor.. but it is the first thing that crossed my mind when I read your title. We don't have names like that in KY. Monkey's Eyebrow, Possom Trot, Podunk... yes. Nipissing, no.

Glad to hear you had a great trip and did some catchin'. Great pics also! 8)

Had a great week fishing with you, can't wait to do it again next year sometime. That pike was definitely a beauty the way he hit it I think we both thought that she was a Muskie, oh well there is always next year for you to get your first Canadian muskie.
