So here is my report for my week in Canada this past week. I just C&P from the site I originally posted it on....
Welp, Here is my report for the week.
First off, I had a great time and can't thank Jim & Sue enough for letting me stay with them for the week. I thoroughly enjoyed the company throughout the week. I had a good net man for the week(Thanks Corey!.... ), and not to mention great suppers everynight prepared by Sue. The fishing was still a little tough this week, the walleye just didn't seem to be wanting bottom bouncers, and the musky I think were just starting to semi-turn on towards the end of the week. The pike were descent I suppose, but from what I understand....still not "the norm". But even though the fishing was still sort-of tough, like I said, I still had a great week with great company. Anyways, Here are a few of my pics from the week....
Can you tell I had been up for almost 36 hours in this pic? First fish of the week BTW...
Corey's nice 19" walleye caught while musky fishing...
My biggest(and only walleye in the boat) for the week....22inches, Caught on a Smithwick Deep Diving Rogue
My big fish for the week....35" Pike
Another pic, Same fish....
Friday evening me and Corey went out and tried to switch up our tactics a little bit(again with the Smithwick Rogue)....first cast, I nailed a small smallmouth, within the next 5-6 casts we had these next three fish in the boat....
Hard to beat a Canadian Sunset.....
The Dock...
The Cabin...
Laney after taking a dip(involuntarily...lol)
Marvin providing some entertainment playing fetch in the water...
Plenty of these guys around the Cabin...snapped a quick night shot of one while on my way back to the campfire one night...
The evening campfires...
Anyways, That pretty much sums up what i've got. I know Corey still has a ton of photos to post up. But again, I had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year.
