I had a live well drain line break right at the transom. Found the black tube and used Schedule 80 pipe to join the new piece to the remaining original piece. Checked it out when I was done. Put a plug in the drain line at the transom. Filed the live well and still had a leak. Not as bad as it first was!! I then put the drain pipe in and removed the plug. No leak. So now I need to replace the remaining piece. I need to know how to get to the connector at the bottom of the live well. I think I saw someone here who rebuilt one back a few years ago. I really would like to contact him or someone else. I really need a clue to got this one under control. In the meantime I am planning to use the boat with the stand pipe installed and just monitor just how much water is collecting due to the leak. I am buying another plug to keep in my spare parts to plug it at the drain hole if things go south on me.

Thanks in advance!!!

my alumnacraft has a leak in livewell drain line too I plug it when I put my drain plug in I was going to fix it but im not going to dig out all the foam to get to it.. most of the fish I catch aint big enough to keep

Yeah I think I am going down the same road. Bad news is the crappie are on and I need the well. I just might fill the well with water then keep the transom plug installed. At least that way I know I have water and with the stand pipe in, no leak. May have to resort to adding ice.

do it the old way get a basket hang it over the side :)

Is the live well in the center console or in a compartment? If in a compartment can you remove the floor to gain access? I'd have to see a pic before I could offer a suggestion.
