Lowe 1648 Aura Alternatives

I’ve been looking at the Lowe 1648 Aura. I like the layout and floor. Really like the weight which reduces the HP requirement (max 30 HP). Downside is it’s riveted.

Use would be for freshwater fishing, duck and marsh hen hunting. Live in NE Fla.

So two questions:

1. Anyone have experience with Lowe’s riveted boats?

2. What lightweight welded 16 ft with similar floor plan would you recommend?

I don't know your specific boat, but wouldn't be scared of rivets, especially if it is an "open" style boat (no floor).

Re-bucking or replacing a rivit is something a DIYer can usually handle, but fixing a cracked weld, maybe not.
