Lowrance mark5x

Hi everyone,
Just installed my new fish finder which is lowrance mark 5 and it won't power up,I'm using a 12volt battery which is 7a/h and it's fully charged the inline fuse is all good,I've tested and have power at the end of cable that plugs into unit is there a fuse inside the unit

Pretty basic hooking them up. I would use multi meter to test voltage and polarity at the plug supply right before it goes into unit, which you said you did. If have 12v when you plug it back in & seated in all the way, it still will not power up, you may have a bad unit. May want to try powering up also without transducer plug hooked in. That wire may be shorted & causing a protection circuit to turn on.
