Is this the real deal? Can't wait to see a head to head comparison, and ultimately a price drop in this technology. It is an add on technology to there Hi Def units, rumor has it at around a $400 add on.

Hopefully with their intro of the side imaging both the hummingbird and lowrance units will be a little more affordable. I've had my eye on the 797c at Sportsmans Warehouse since I worked there 07-08 school semesters. Sweet unit, but I would spend more money in fuel to just drive around the lake and see whats on the bottom.
