Hello all. I am in the process of replacing an old Minn Kota with a new one. The old one is wired up with the connector you see below. I would like to have this same connector on the new one so I can leave the boat wiring alone. I tried (briefly) to figure out how this connector comes apart...but moved on to other things after I could not quickly figure it out. Does anyone know if you can take this apart from an old installation and put new wires on it? (I guess it could be soldered inside.) Are there bolt on terminals, etc? I searched on the net for diagrams, pics, etc, but no luck.

Worst case, it looks like I can remove the connectors in the foot pedal and move it to the new one. Any help would be appreciated! (I plan to look at it more closely tonight, but thought I would float this out there in advance.)

As an FYI, I was able to pull the "sleeve" off and the connectors where screw in types. Here are some pics:
