Hey folks new to this, i need some help I have a 92 model 16 ft big Jon
It's rated for 35 hp but I think I wanna go with a four stroke it has a 74 model
Johnson25 that's runs good but I am a big guy with big friends and also want
Power tilt and trim . The main thing I need to know is a forty hp four stroke gonna
Sink it down so far that I need to move batt/ fuel tank to the front and kill the room
And open space ,the open space sold me on this boat,I know the 4strokes a way heavy
And really don't want to do all the math of loading bricks in the back to see if it's gonna
Be ok, don't want to dunk the back corner pullin gators in!

How wide is bottem ??,that means a lot for stability..cva34

It is 48 at the bottom and close to 68 at the top of the transom with a mod v design bow. It's a very stabil boat I'm just a little concerned that with the short style transom it might sink it down to much with a heavy 40 hp . I guess if I'm unhappy with the way it sits in the water I can order a set of pods.
