This is my first boat project been wanting to try one for along time now and this grumman 13'5 just fell into my lap. decked the top benches flatten the floor on the bottom and added carpet with storage between the front benches, a foot controlled trolling motor from C list with a broke control cable for 20 bucks and the cable was a 25 dollar ebay find, it now works great! The mod I did over the weekend I'd like to say I had 12 hours in it and that is just in labor I did but the hours spent reading up on it and going to the lumber yard and other stores here and there really makes it too many to count! Lets just say i had the whole thing bought and planed by saturday morning when I started! Features are really simple ones I ran a piece of 1/2 conduit in one of the grooves on the the side hull right before the base of the old bench made running my 12v system a snap and one pull 8 awg for the trolling motor and the 10 gauge to the buse block for the running lights and the LED night light, plus a AUX power port for phones or what nots. In all the build was awesome fun and can wait for some serious night bass kickin action in it! Boat and all I did the the mod for $600 marine plywood is not cheap, but the the worst had the be all the little nick nacks like pedastal seat mounts and lighting, ect they really add up quickly!

Thanks guys the site really helped out alot! I'll post a couple more pics later of the switch panel
Which was a cheap plate used as a push plate on commercial doors. I'm wanting to do the same to a Jon but Im always on a family budget so I will have to wait till I find a deal I couldn't pass up on! For now I'm ready to go fishing but before that the kids are screaming for a boat ride I better get that done one evening soon under the carport they already snagged some gators and some sharks plus each other with the anchor rope!
