Nice clean look.
Bet they are bright during at night can see them real good and lit in picture just during day.

I would try something like that would have them broke off at dock in short notice.
 
Yea they arw bright. I put them far enough apart where they wont they wont hit the winch post on my trailer and whenever I pull up the a dock I never go nose first. I always tie up from the side.
 
Neither, they just come sealed in silicone. Im gonna get somewaterproof double sided tape to stick them to the.boat then use clear silicone to seal/glue them in the rub rail
 
I would check the angle of visibility. They should be visible from dead ahead to 112.5 degrees aft on both sides. If not then they aren't legal.
