Hey guys just recently started a boat project about a month ago and I just finished building the deck and everything I wanted for it and now am wondering where I should run the wiring for the navigation lights at night. I have the plug in port for the all round white light right next to my battery but am not sure where I should run the wires for the bow red/green light. I have a 14' alumacraft and I was wanting to get a switch panel like bass pro shops sells so if anyone has had some experience with this id greatly appreciate your input

how often will you be using them? I began planning for mine, mapping out the wiring, switches, etc, and found that I wont use them enough to warrant anything permanent. maybe 3 - 5 times a year. I got the $30 portable kit from walmart.

the rib/crimp down the side of the boat is a perfect route for wiring... just be sure and cover with tape or somehow prevent sharp edges chafing/scraping the wires..

im wanting these to be more permanent, the local lake here has a 24 hour exit and im a big fan of night fishing so i will be spending most of my nights there

If it will fit, run the wire through 1/2" pvc and then behind the ribs. It makes for nice conduit and looks clean

Yep, conduit they sell at he depot between the ribs. Tape a metal coat hanger to the end to fish it through
