I am new to the site. I recently boat a 1967 Eldocraft 12' jon boat with seats, a new battery, new minkota trolling motor,lights, ores, and 8 life jackets for 300 bucks. This is my first boat. It came with baby blue peeling paint so I sanded it off and used a metallic red auto paint for the top half and rhinolined the bottom half. She floated with no leaks whatsoever.
If I can figure out how to post pics I will.

Yes I rhinolined it myself.It took 2 quarts to do half the bottom inside and out. Since it is so narrow I doubt I do a deck so about the only mods I will do is better seats and a bigger trolling motor. The 30lb thrust minkota on it now really scoots the boat in 5th. I would like to make some rod holders for it. My buddy and me built a trailer from scrap and redid the boat in just under 2 weeks.
