I picked up a great, solid 1232 Jon for dirt cheap. I converted my old 1436 so I figured I have to do this one. I'm going to try and do it for as cheap as possible so I picked up a couple of pallets for free. Have yet to come up with a definite plan so any input would be great. I want to deck the front and back, trolling motor in the front, and live well/cooler. Maybe some interior/exterior lights for night fishing. I plan on taking a lot of pics along the way. Anyone and everyone feel free to chime in! Oh by the way, I'll be doing everything off my phone until I get internet at my new place... :?

Welcome to the site. There is a lot of good information here, hope you go through it with an open mind. I, my self have an Alumacraft 14'X48''X22'' flat bottom big lake jon. Check out the ''Search'' at the top of the page for some direct information on your size boat. A lot of info there before you actually ask for help. Not saying you can't ask but it helps a lot sometimes to inform you about some other questions about the same topic. I have found this a good start before I go onto the forum. But if you want to know I also have a 12' Alumicraft jon from Academy(which I like, but I have had a few instances with it that, to some, would not to get back on the water with it) and will help you any way I can.
