Glad you got out on the water, i bet you didnt even care you werent catching.

You said you live is South Lousiana, are you anywhere near Houma? I have a lot of family there, including a cousin that LOVES to Bass fish.

Yea, it was a good time even if we were just catching small bream. I live a little over 2 hours from Houma.

Oh ok, i love to visit them down there. Never have done much bass fishing there, but that will change soon.

Figured I would update this thread a little with some fish that I have caught in the boat. Fishing is really picking up in Louisiana right now. These were caught in Grand Isle. Should be a fun summer.

Nice new ride & nice fish!
I am over in Mobile and use a 1440 mv with an 18 hp on Mobile Bay & MS Sound out of Bayou la Batre. As far as mods, the only think I have done to mine is add a aluminum floor kit, lights, shell & drink hold & a fishfinder. Other than that, I've kept it simple.

Welcome Aboard! I lived in Chalmette a short while when stationed in NOLA during my Navy days. I wasn't on the base at Algiers, but out at the lakefront on Ponchatrain (sp?).

Grand Isle isn't too bad. I actually went back yesterday with a friend of mine. We came back with 43 speckled trout, a few white trout, and a few channel mullet.
