I am a new member and I can't say enough about how well this site is. I have been looking at all the mods everyone has done and really would like to do mine as well. I must say there are some really nice looking boats on here. Any information on what materials to use and how to get started would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1992 14' alumacraft jon boat. It is a really good boat for a 1st time boater. Thank you for you time.

Agreed!!! I was gonna do carpet then I changed it to truck bed liner now I'm doing splatter paint in black and white.

I'm still going with an OD green exterior though! That will never change!

I had planned on doing a fixed floor and casting deck and now I'm doing removable to change up for my fishing needs! You'll never know when you would want to remove the floors and go crawdad gigging!

I have some ideas in my head, but my carpentry skills aint the best. I guess it will be all trial and error. I will post pics as soon as I get started. Until then I do believe I will continue to look at all the other mods on here. Thanks yall.

Looks like a nice rig. I say fish the heck out of it, and they'll tell what you want to change, if anything.
A lot folks jump into a mod right away only to later find out they don't like the boat, LOL. :LOL2:
