Nearly all old tin boats can be saved. This one has a high coolness factor. You will quickly discover if the deck is practical or not.

With the dual cockpits, it looks like one here that someone just posted here last week!

Hate to be the old "warning" guy, but...be sure that you can register and use your new boat. i.e. sometimes, when someone receives a free boat, the giver wasn't the registered owner.

It would be a shame to put time and money in and then find out that the title wasn't clear and it really isn't yours. In registering an older boat, some States are a PIA, and some are much easier

Welcome aboard. She sure is an interesting craft.

Well that was fun. It is a Crestliner

Thanks yes i believe the giver is the original owner. The family is looking for the title. In the mean tine they are writing a BOS. Not sure the plan but want to do a lot of research 1st. I only wanted it to pull behind my Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Lol. Something about the odd old stuff i just cant get enough of. It has been registered in Oklahoma so i can trace it down on monday off the old registration number on the boat. Thanks for the links as well!

Wow, you literally had to dig it out. Looks like steering is from the rear cockpit -- Very cool boat. Congrats.

Yes we had to dig it out literaly. Lol. We actually lifted it with the tractor and filled in the holes. Spun it and dragged it out of the woods. Its pretty ruff but i think its usable. It will be a few months before i start any work but i am already pumped to get started.

So i found the number on the side it is B13149 and is a 14ft boat.

It's amazing the neglect these old aluminum boats can stand and still be made to shine again. Very cool project!

Thank you. I am pretty excited about it. I took this thing on in the middle of selling our house, buying another, moving and finishing my jeep grand wagoneer project. Not sure what i was thinking but couldnt resist. Lol

I agree but have pulled all info from the state today and it is off the official registrations for Oklahoma. So i have been instructed to use the bill of sale and i can request acourt date to have a title asigned to me. Couple hubdred bucks and im in business.
