New to me Alumacraft 1457

Hey guys just want to say that when I found this website about a year ago lets just say alot of other things that needed to get done didn't it is very addicting. This is my first boat project and it has gone good so far. My plans are to still cover everything with something I haven't decided on carpet or vinyl yet but that is my project for this winter. I am also going to strip out all the old astroturf type carpet that is already in it and possibly repaint it I haven't decided yet. But I wanted to get this done so I can get out and fish with it this summer. I will let all the pictures do the talking. I think the pics are backwards but you get the idea.

Thanks guys there probably wont be much done to it until this winter as I work two jobs in the summer and we just had our first child but I felt since I have been snooping around here and stealing ideas I should probably post what I have done so far.

Ok guys so Im probably going to get going on this after the holidays. So some questions for you guys. I want to figure out a way that I can get the gas tank to fit in the back I think I can cut out the sides of that back bench part as they don't seem to be there for any support. Also wondering best way to strip all the old carpet addhesive off of the front deck.
