noob needs some ideas!

Hey guys I have been fishing from a canoe for years and I just got this 12ft 1970 alumacraft. I wanna put some type off platform up front. I'm pretty handy but I don't know what I should do. It can't be too heavy since I only have a trolling motor and this trailer isnt submersible yet. I'm sure there is a thread here somewhere thats what I want but om having trouble using this site on my phone. Thanks guys. and yea yea harbor freight trailer..

I have a 1242 and im 220#, it is tough enough standing in the front on the floor and running my trolling motor, if you are a little guy fishing alone you may not have stability issues

Hmm well I'm only 140 but my friend is around 220 and he would be in front more. I'm having trouble mounting seats. the benches are ridiculously deep and they have the lip so clampons are a pain. The one mounted in the pic is cranked so much the plastic base is smooshed and its still shaky.

We both fished standing in the canoe so it can't be to bad lol.
