Old Reel

Here's a couple of shots I took yesterday of an old reel I have:

Camera: Nikon D3000
Lens: Nikkor DX 18-55mm, AF-S, VR.
Tripod used, and natural light from window.

Okay, shots above are in color, and the ones below I changed to b&w. Which do you prefer?

Not sure how i missed your pics,I like them.I look for odd/unusual shoots,I think it makes the best pics.
Have you tried bw with color in your editing yet? Makes for nice pics ,but it has to be right pic.

Haven't tried color within a b&w yet, but have seen some done that way, and as you say, it has to be the right pic.
