First off Josh,

There should be a plate on the motor with the model number on it.

Get that number and post it and that will get you better results.

Good luck!

CD-22M i looked it up it's a 1965 Johnson 6HP , the carb is off of it, and the fuel pump is broken ie the line out to the carb is broken. it turns over fairly easy, havn't checked for spark yet. any suggestions on a good parts place. my neighbor might have 1 other 6hp johnson as well that he'll pass my way. he's a great guy, plus it cleans out his garage a little.

Here is a site with a lot good information.

there isn't a local johnson/evinrude dealer in my area , and the local repair shops prices are obviously based on solid gold replacement parts. i'm a buy/support local guy all day long, but when local is as high as it is i'm sticking with ebay.
