Paint Prep Question - Bristle Brush

Hey Gang - Looks like we're going to have a few days above freezing, so I'm getting the itch to work on the Lund.

Quick Question: I purchased a 3M Bristle Brush (https://www.amazon.com/3M-Bristle-Green-Paint-Removal/dp/B003AO9GHQ) for my angle grinder. It does indeed work well removing paint, but will it damage my aluminum?

Those bristle brushes are great. It should work fine on your boat. I have used these a lot on engines. I have not damaged anything with them yet other than paint and gasket residue.

If it's Nylox or is Aluminum oxide you will be fine

I have never seen such a gizmo before.
I would be interested in how many square feet of two layer enamel paint it will
remove before you have to toss it and get another one.

Just today I used an old 3M paint removal brush on my boat. It worked great. Make sure your drill has high reps. Wear eye protection and a mask as well. It took me about 3.5 hours to do the bottom hull of my boat.
