Pedestal seat mounting options

I'm in the middle of a 1436 build. I'm looking for options to mount seats to the floor. I keep finding the usual pedestal seat mounts that have the 3 inch post protruding downward. BUT, I want to mount and extra seat mount in the floor. Is there a mount available out there that allows for only 1 inch clearance or do I have to just go with having a seat mount that sticks up 3 inches in that spot?

I have a couple of pedestal bases like the pic below mounted to the floor. Most of the time they are not used.
