Fished close to 8 hours today,got on the water about 12 off by 8pm.
They just fixed the dam a week ago and the water was rising fast,it probably came up 10 foot in that week.
I was having a hard time with catching smallmouth but the pickerel were being a pain in the butt.
I landed 9 smallies,most small under a pound,1 was close to acouple pounds.
I lost count of the pickerel,it's funny to because acouple years ago there wasn't any in this lake.
I ordered a pizza,as I left the lake,they said it would be 15 min and I knew I had closer to 25 to get there.
I was booting it down a dirt road(10 miles),then on to a highway,through town to the pizza place.
My wallet was in the boat,when I went to get it I noticed my trolling motor was on the floor of my boat...guess my bolt holding the trolling motor vibrated loose,could have been worse.
Never took any pictures,did take some video,missed acouple and afew parted my buzzbaits and flukes.
