I just bought a 15hp johnson, its a1995 regular leg, manual start,,been checking for propellers; did get the original prop for it it,s a9 1/2 X10 but I was proposed a 9X11 for it also, dont quite get the difference between the two, and how it would affect the performance EI:stress on motor, hole shot, gas consumption ect...Mike

There will be little difference between the 2. The first one is 9.5 dia. X 10 pitch & the second is 9 dia X 11 pitch.

The second might be a touch faster, but since the dia. is smaller it might have a touch more slip.

For every pitch you go up you will lose 2 to 300 rpm usually.
