How many on here have removed all the bench seating from there boat. I have a 12' semi v. And I'd like to take them out. But I'm worried about waking the hull. It is pretty thick aluminum so I think it will be fine.

I removed these benches:
My plan was to rivet some braces under my casting platform to reenforce the hull from flexing:
That seemed to be enough to support the hull. Here's more or less the finished product. I never had any issues with it flexing or cracking. I did take preventative measures, though, and I coated the entire hull with Gluvit to seal all of the joints and rivets just in case.:
