reverse the head of a transom mount and install in my bow mo

i am pondering getting rid of my foot control, getting a transom mount, reversing the head and using a bigfoot switch. anyone done thid? the dang pedal and wire cables take up a lot of room. i can still use the old bow mount i think. i might have to cut the transom bracket off the new motor. opinions welcome.

I want to convert a box mount into transom mount - maybe we should trade? LOL
