what kind of rod holders you guys useing walmart use to sell some for like 3.00 you screw them on but i cant find them

You could just use a piece of 1 1/2" PVC cut to the length you need, drill 2 holes near 1 end and screw it on. i have some like that on my boat.

Most all of mine are driftmaster or look-a-likes I made. I have one clamp on like you are talking and I dont use it, cant get it to fasten good.

ACarbone624, post a pic. Do you fish with yours or are they for storage? Can you change the angle? Ive seen some made with a cross section of a 3" or so size pipe, cut open like a c shape, holle on one side and u shape notce to rest the other end.

These can easily be screwed to the bench...and put at a lower angle than I have mine at. They work well keeping my rods from getting tangled from lying on the floor.

Here’s what I am using now. They aren’t cheap though, at $35.00 each and an additional $9.00 for the mounting base. They are adjustable from straight up to 90 degrees straight out. They make different mounting bases, including ones that clamp to the gunnel.

You can see the Scotty holders on my trolling board. Still using 2 of these until I mount the last 2 Tite Lok bases.
