What’s the best sealant for screw holes on transom of aluminum boats?Want to seal the transducer screws,but heard certain products react to aluminum. Any help would be greatly appreciate!

3M 5200 is what I’ve used. 3 years so far and zero leaks.

My local Menards has a Locktite brand marine sealant that has worked great for me.

Menards locktite is good. Use nail to coat ID of hole & drive a stainless steel screw in. Rivets work too.

Whatever you do, the tin should be cleaned, sanded, and primed 1st. Goops like 200 will attack unprepped tin, see photo.
