Hey everyone, I need help and some advice. How did you all bolt or screw down your base. I have a 6 hole 7" x 7" pedestal that I'm attaching to 1/2" plywood with aluminum framing. Thanks everyone in advanced for your help!!

T nuts will definitely work. Another option is a 1/4-20 bolt and a big fender washer on the bottom to help spread the load over a larger area. Not as ideal as a big backing plate but every bit counts. And bolt it with nylock nuts if you go that route so they won't loosen with vibration

I placed a big 8 sided red with white letters piece of aluminum that I found hanging on a post at the corner
under my floor and used carriage bolts

I used stainless nyloc nuts and bolts for the base itself. It was to flimsly so here is how I reinforced it, which worked out great.
