Ok, there is 2 seperate threads asking about batterys and chargers, Here is my take on chargers... A onboard charger is best for easy charging, I have a 3 bank onboard and 4 batterys, I bought one of these chargers, 12/8/2 amp from this exact ebay seller back in august or sept. I have had zero problems with it and it charges my 130 amphr battery fine every time, has std/agm/gel settings, Tho a agm and standard battery can charge the same, the gels can not... Any onboard charger will have seperate settings for gel. Most do not for agm/std.. Anyhow, I have heard the 6 amp chargers like these are trash from walmart, I have not had any problems with the 12.. I paid 26.00 shipped to my door, this link has 2 for 49.99 shipped. View other auctions for a single... I charge my 135 amp battery on 8 amp setting, it is usually 50-60% when I recharge overnite, it is always ready in the am... Also, the longer it float charges, the better the charge, sometimes ill let mine float for 1 day, and other times for 3 or 4 days.. The onboard is plugged in all the time..

Thanks for the link bug.. great pricing. I have a similar one that is more geared toward boating that I got from walmart. It survived being completely submerged in a basement flood, so it checks out in my book.
