I took a 6 hour drive to fish with a good friend on the Smith River for steelhead.
Fishing was great but the catching was so so. This river flows through the Redwoods in Northern California. My pick's of the river were poor at best but the fish pict turned out.
After 3 days of drift boating we only landed 2 steelhead a small jack and a 10 lbs hen native that were released.
