So I am brand new here, I stumbled across this site from a you tube video I watched, anyway I am just about to buy a jon boat, and want to convert it into a awesome bass boat. I need your help, if you are very good at converting jon boats, let me drive it over to your place and work on it with you, I will purchase all materials we need, and supply the food and beer for a few days while we make it happen. I know there must be some handy fellow out there with time to help me with this project. I live in Vancouver B.C. Canada. So anywhere on the west coast is fine, I am willing to road trip it if necessary. thanks in advance.

ROADGUNNER,

IF you want a bassboat, you should just go find/buy a good/used bassboat. - I paid 450.oo for my old 15 foot OUACHITA bassboat, with a good-running 35HP Johnny, on a suitable trailer & there are LOTS more of those "out there" if you "look around".
(The "East Texas" craigslist, for example, has a GOOD-LOOKING 1983 bassboat, right now, for 500.oo OBO.)

"Converting" an open tin boat will usually cost you MORE than buying a usable, older bassboat & fixing it up to suit your preferences.

just my OPINION, satx
