Thanks for the kind words! The complete front casting including framework, hatches, recessed foot pedal tray and aluminum top came in at 65 lbs.About as clean of a build as I have seen on here. Out of curiosity, did you weigh the assembled drop in front deck before installing it? Just curious what that came out to be.
I have been wanting to do the exact same thing you did on the bow for my 1648 flatbottom. I'll have to remember to show pics of your build to the guy I use for welding.
