pevious setup, 12v dc, grp 31, grp 24 cranking battery. noco mini genius 2 bank 4 amp charger. deep cycle charged pretty quick, cranking battery sometimes to all nite to show green. always showed green. new setup, noco genius 3 bank 4 amp charger. grp 24 dc, grp 24 cranking . both dc charge right up. cranking battery takes a long time, overnite to show green. all batteries are new. voltages are all good. 12.7 vdc.my question, do cranking/starting batteries take longer to charge? if so, why?starting battery has motor leads, charger leads and accessory leads. negative post on starter also has a fuel tank gnd. thanks in advance
