If you have that money, jump on it. Just try and run it under load before you drop that kind of change.

Yes that is a steal, jump on it.
A buddy of mine paid that same price for a 2007 welded 1542mv w/25 hp 2 stroke, trolling motor and galvanized trailer last year.
Why cant I find deals like that?

I have the same 04' motor on a 08' 1448 Alweld. It is a stong motor. I'm running a solid 29-30 MPH GPS with a very heavy load.

bought it today it is perfect only thing is it has no tounge wait on it and tilts back very easily any suggestions to weight the tounge down but not in the boat

Congrats on the purchase!! Is the axle on your trailer movable? Can you move the bow post forward any?? If you don't like it, you can sell it to me..

I'm actually in a crummy position, I found something I like a lot better for a little bit of money.. Guy seems to be giving it away.. But I need to sell what I have first.. Makes it tough... UGH!!!

Sounds like you need to move the boat foward on the the trailer, just move the bow post foward about 6" & see if thatmakes a difference.
