My son and I were on Salmon Creek Beach just north of Bodega Bay today. Fished the outgoing tide from about 11:30 to 1:30. We managed 8 to take home. We were both using high/low rigs with Berkley Gulp sandworms.
Driving home my GPS routed me about 20 miles south to avoid traffic. As luck would have it, shortly before I got there a four car pile up turned the bridge into a parking lot. But I was entertained -- scroll down the photos to see why.
