Taking my daughter hunting this weekend.

Well, this year only one of my kids wanted to go hunting with me. We leave Friday at 1 and get to hunt that night, have a campfire, cookup some good grub and hunt all day Saturday - or untill she gets way too bored. I hear the rut is kicking in now, so I'm pretty confident that we'll have some luck calling in a 1 year old to arrow.

The best of luck to you and your daughter this weekend. My girls have been bow hunting with me for a few years now and my oldest (16) just pass her hunting test last weekend. We're going to check out a few of our stands this weekend.

Unfortunatly, this trip was a test of our patience. We saw zero deer this trip. So much for the 30 deer in a weekend we are used to. It makes the time go fast when that many deer are in the area. This time, we saw pleanty of squirrels, but that was it.

Oh well, next week should be better!
