Looking to fabricate some terminal blocks so I can run battery leads from my batteries to the trolling motor(s). This will allow me to attach various items as I have a need to easly accessable points.

They do sell these items but they want $25.00 for what is essentially a molded plastic base with two 3/8 bolts - I was thinking of making my own perhaps using "cutting board" plastic

Any ideas?

Here is what they sell:

I have some plastic that is 3/4 " that I made mine out of.The plastic was thick enough to recess the head of the bolt which I than put some hot glue over to make sure it wouldn't short out when I mounted it.I put the 2 bolts far enough apart so there wouldn't be any possibility of shorting together.

Where did you get the plastic?

It was some that I received from a local store that cuts meat & they have to replace every so often from all the knife cuts.

There's is a place by me called Alro plastics. They should have some sheet plastic.
