I had an issue with my airbag sensor system on my 2003 Explorer Sport. I looked all over the truck and saw at least 20 different things that could have been an airbag sensor. Looked on the internet and couldn't find any drawings of my truck and even a Ford Explorer enthusist website offered no help. He sent me a couple drawings of a different year system that didn't show where it was on mine but it showed exactly what the sensor looked like. Popped the hood and imediately found it. Pulled off the connector and one prong stayed in the sensor and the other one had corroded off and was in the connector. I got the air bag sensor, $63.00 for that and $32 for the pigtail wiring harness at the Ford dealer and installed them. The system works properly now.
