Woo hoo!!

Just looking through the conversations regarding BMS and bluetooth. I can't imagine that you can buy a lithium battery without a BMS today. If you think for some reason that you have one you should get rid of it in the safest way possible because it could be incredibly dangerous. If your battery displays the CE mark or the FCC mark, it has a BMS (Unless, of course, the manufacturer decided to apply those marks without actually complying with the regulations, which has been known to happen.)

My Time USB 140 ah battery arrived today, but not the charger ! Says I need the charger to wake it up....bad part is my android phone says it can' t download the App to use the bms system which really sucks !! Any tricks from you phone smart fellows for a computer dummy to make the connection
to my Samsung android phone ?
In the battery manual there is a QR code you can scan. I went to the Google Store and downloaded a QR Code Reader then scanned the code in the manual and had no problems. You will also need the QR Code Reader to scan the QR code on the top of the battery in order to finish the process. It took them 8 days to get my charger. Apparently they used Amazon shipping and it came from a 3rd party source in California. What really ticks me off is I could have gotten the charger from Amazon the next day for $10 more.

My charger is supposed to be here tomorrow. However still can't make the phone connection. Tried some things myself but being a computer dummy, only allowed myself some time pushing buttons and getting no where. Gonna take my phone back where I bought it and see if they can help. Phone is over 6-8 yrs old, might be time to get a new one anyway.

Sorry, I have had only iphones, and most of the time, its a "fight" for me to set something up!
My wife decided to get an I phone after years of just using a Samsung android.
She hates her I phone, way to complicated and she can't take the classes due to her dissabilities. I already knew I was to computer illiterate to even try as the frustration would make me use it as target practice. My android has done everything I wanted simply....up until now...this BMS thing has me frustrated. The advertisement said it was android compatible. Gonna take the phone back where I bought it and see what can be done.

Too hard for this dog to learn new tricks, to switch from iPad/iPhone to something else. When possible, prefer the Windows laptop, though.

I don't know. iPhones and android phones are different, but one isn't more complicated than the other or objectively better overall. The real issue is change is hard, especially as we age. If you're a bit of a geek then changing platforms isn't a big deal at all. If you're not, then it doesn't matter which direction you go, you'll struggle. I think the wisest choice for anybody in one system or the other is to stick with what you have unless you need the other for some reason (work, for instance.) They're both good, they have differences, but once you figure either out you're fine. I think the biggest significant difference is Apple products are more secure, Android and Windows are more flexible. If one of those things is important to you then go with it, otherwise stick with what you have.

How true, but the Apple stuff has far more bells and whistles, more buttons to push which makes them easier to get into trouble with if your not a geek so to speak. I like simple, gives me more time to do what I really enjoy!
