TM too tall?

I know this has been covered recently but would like a quick opinion....

Is this too tall or would you try it?

Mine was too tall like that so I took it apart and cut it down to the height I liked​. I sit at the bench seat height so the taller height wouldn't work for me it was at my face.

If you stand on that front deck to fish and it's in your way then it's too tall. I think anything highet than knee height and I would cut it down.

I have done that too, aside from buying a different motor, that is really the only solution.
