Is this what your talking about? I have a switch pannel I removed from the
boat when I got it but want to rund one ground from battery for all the other
stuff, Navlights, interior lights, fish finder maybe front and back. I want all of
that on the rear battery that the outboard will charge. The only thing I want
on my front is the trolling motor.

Is that the bar I need? The one I am planning on is an 8 gang? Bigger Better
 
yea man, that'll work. I doing mine like this 2. just slap a main negative to the battery and u should be fine.
 
That looks like an isolating distribution block. Not a common buss. If you are trying to use that for a common bonding point for your ground you will have to jump across the 4 screws. That is what it looks like to me.

Thats the first one that I found for a pic. It has continuity to all the terminals, I dont like the metal mounting on this one but you can get the idea of what your looking for.
