I do fiberglass repais here in Katy and we do work for Bass Pro and other dealers in the area. My father worked a deal where we did a small job for a local dealer and took 5 trolling moters in trade (all used and in unknown condition). Well he got them home and 4 of the 5 have good motors on them and I think I can piece together2 maybe 3 trolling motors.

Now for the question, is there an online source for getting trolling motor parts? I dug in our trash pile and found an off brand foot control pedal and took out a switch and fixed a 12v Minn Kota. Now I have three Great White Motor Guide saltwater series hand control motors that need various parts. I would love to find a longer shaft for one of these and use it.

Any help appreciated.

I need a motor for a 12v 30lb MinnKota 30AT ( i think) w/ foot pedal Mine is grinding some. I hate to drop 300 on a new one if I dont have too...You would have one of those laying around that you would sell cheap, would ya?

No I don't. The one Minn Kota I do have is the only one that is working perfectly. Any one else know of a parts place online? Someone you have done business with and trust.

I have ordered parts from these guys they did right by me.. they even called me a few weeks after i got my parts and said the new stickers came in and wanted to send me my 109bs thrust digital stickers

Thanks! They have a few of the items I want, but not all of them. Anyone else have one they have used. I hate to try a new company I have never heard of. But I guess I will just have to try one.

here is another place that i have used again goood fast service at a fair price for what i was looking for

I must be blind. I can't find where to go to find parts on the second website you posted.

Thanks for the link, BTW!

I have been looking and I can find a blown up schematic of my trolling motor and I can find most of the parts I need, but I can't seem to locate anything local.

Well I rebuilt one of the Motor Guide Great White hand controll 67lbs thrust trolling motors. I took part from all three and made one complete unit. The shaft is bent and I am debating on whether or not I am even going to spend the money on a new one. Might just keep my eyes open for a used one. Plus I have just enough parts to put another one together as a back up (with a slightly shorter shaft). Now I have one more for parts and then I have a Minn Kota lazer 12v that I need to look at and I might have all of them up and running. Wouldn't that be kewl.
:D

If you need parts for a minnkota, Jason Roberts might be able to help you over at honey creek tackle in bargersville. he is a dealer for minnkotas. I beleive you can find him at www.honeycreektackle.com
