trolling motor problems

i have a Minn Kota Power Drive.

it worked great until it sat over the winter and now it is acting screwy.
when hooked to 24 volts it will not work at all
when hooked to 12 volts it will work for awhile then quit.

i have heard they had problems with the foot pedals, but im not for sure.

The steering works fine, it works on 24 volt and 12 volt, no problem.

what year MK? and wich foot pedal does it have? pics? if it steers fine but the motor is not working its probaly not the pedal and something in the lower unit...

It can be the pedal,theres a separate little slide switch that can go bad.(can order online)
Like mention above could be problems elsewhere also.
Which model runs on either 24 or 12 volt?
