I bought one of those tubes you can tow behind your boat for my kids last week. I was able to tow one kid on the tube, with another kid in the boat as a spotter, and it worked pretty well with my 18hp. The motor had to work pretty hard, and the speed wasn't that fast (fast enought for the kids though) but the boat was able to get up on plane while towing. It worked best when I had the spotter sit right up front in the bow seat so the boat would stay on plane more easily.

Pics or it didnt happen

Too busy driving the boat and keeping an eye on the kids to take pictures!

Just bustin your balls a little. :LOL2:

How did you attach the tube rope?

Now worries! I put a short length of rope between the two handles on the back of my tin and then attached the tow rope to that. Worked pretty well.

I've been wanting to do that myself. My 225hp could probably toe the whole dang neighborhood, but we can't seem to find a time when everyone is available to go at the same time. I promise though...it will happen!
