Is $300 a fair price for an older 18hp evinrude 2 stroke? One for sale local. Will run it before purchase. Not sure of year. Probably 70's or 80's. Just curious, thanks.

I would say thats a great price if it runs good. It wouldn't last long around here/

It probably wouldn't sell for that price in my area. It would probably go for half that.
Sounds like its a fair price in your area if someone else is looking at it.
1973 was the last year the 18hp was made.
