What better way to start my first post than asking for a little insight. Im currently looking at a 2001 2072 side console with a 2001 2stroke johnson. The boat seems to be in good working order anyone care to take a stab at what think it may be worth. I know what the nda says but was looking for personal openion. Thx yall

For that year and size of boat, I've seen prices anywhere from $7500 to $11000. It really depends on what accessories the boat comes with and the condition of the boat. (I.E. electronics, batteries, trolling motor, on board charger, etc.) Also, the motor condition, hours and maintenance receipts factor in heavily. You definitely don't want to inherit someone elses problem, or pay too much. The bottom line? It's worth what you are willing to pay for it. If you get a big, solid, well-maintained boat that runs great and you feel like you got a good deal on it I say go for it. I would love to have a big boat like that. Every time I try to squeeze another piece of gear onto my 15 footer, I wish for a bigger boat.
