What kind of boat?

I have to get a pic but I would like to know what type of boat this is? I purchased a 13.5' aluminum boat which has about a 6' beam and needs restoration. The boat has a catamaran front end but flattens out quickly. The first registration sticker on the boat was from 1971....in Michigan. The nameplate on the boat was broken but the first 4 letters were Beco and under that it said South Bend In.

I googled "boat maker South Bend Indiana" and found a newspaper article citing Brunswick Corp as having moved to a new larger facility. I then looked up Brunswick Corp marine division and found this:

Looks like they make boats for a number of sellers. Maybe it will lead to something about your boat.

Starcraft built there. Later bought by brunswick. Wonder if beco is reco for recommended max h.p..

I have a couple of pics to post tomorrow. Beco was on the side of the boat where the nameplate was. Beco was just the partial name since the rest of the plastic has broken off. Like maybe Beco craft or something else. I will post pics tomorrow. I have been boating for a long time and have never seen a boat like this and as I stated the first registration sticker under all of the others was a 1971. In Michigan there are three year registrations but I do not know about 45 years ago.
