I have a small boat I need to be able to pump the water out of after it rains, however I don't plan to have any kind of motor in the boat. What I'm looking for is a small battery that can carry enough of a charge to run the bilge pump for five minutes. What would be a good inexpensive option?

Cabelas has an option you may like. It's a small 12v rechargeable battery.

Hope this helps

Home depot and lowes sell 12v batteries for lawn mowers that work to run accessories run. I have one on my boat for nav lights and bilge pump.

Homedepot and lowes also sell the 12v sealed batteries too in the lighting department. You just have to find a charger.

Get a 12 volt battery and charger that goes in a Vexular unit. They usually last a long time

I use a Lawn mower battery. Runs my lights all night long and will still start the Lawn mower in the morning.
I row. No trolling motor. The Bilge pump is kinda iffy, but you can use a Cut down Clorox bottle for that too.
