Which foam adhesive is best?

I recently had an aluminum floor installed in my flatbottom boat and want to lay a foam floor over it--prob. exercise mats (Hydorturf's too expensive!). What is the best adhesive to use for this?

Probable 3M77 spray adhesive or something similar.

Not sure what type of foam you're considering, but foam will be hard to clean, and keep clean, retains water, etc. What about some rubber anti-fatigue matts or something similar. The heavy one's probably won't blow out when on plane or on the road.

I didn't make myself clear; I did mean the anti-fatigue mats instead of foam.

Consider...

tacking them with dabs ofc clear silicone adhesive along the edges. Cleaning, replacing, etc...MUCH easier, and the utiliarian effect is the same. Removal is simple when the time comes.
