Awrite for my Barn!!!! :D
I found enough parts n' pieces in my Barn to make this thing work. If you have a big Barn and NEVER throw anything away, you'll have what you need if you look long enough and stir up enough stuff!

I found some stainless Cotter pin, some stainless to make shear pins with, and two props.
Both fit. I've never seen one of these motors in action so I don't know which prop. Here's a slide show. Look and tell me if one prop or the other is right, or if I have to do something different yet?

try both of them.. I would start with the larger one first... but it may put too much strain on the motor and burn it up.
I'm not sure about the small one, but I've seem them on the old motors before and they seemed like the did fine for sllooooowwwwlllyyyy moving around

I have had both types of props on the OMC trolling motors. The one I have now has the smaller prop, it is a straight shaft trolling motor, where all of the bent shaft which are higher lb. thrust trolling motors I have owned have had the bigger props. So my guess would be the larger prop. I see you are from Cullman, I am just up in Decatur. Where do you fish?

Tight Lines.
Flintcreek.

Catoma right in town is a great place to fish, but getting in and out is a PITA.

Smith is good for wide open spaces but I'm poor at catching anything except Bass. Smith lake is referred to as the "Dead Sea" among local fishermen.

Right not the truck is broke so I'm stuck home for awhile.

Stainless prop. for a trolling motor?
I've never seen that before, maybe though.
I'd still start with the other.

Here is a motor like yours just a couple years newer. It has the same prop as the one I said earlier in this thread.

You guys are right. Its not stainless, it's aluminum.
It sure polished up nice and bright though.

I found a third prop. Its exactly like the one in Ben2go's photo.

I'm in the process of mounting that bugger tonight. I just quit for Coffee n' a Shower.
It looks like it mounts on the front left corner of the boat, with power to the battery on the right side.
The Drop down latch seems to work and every thing moves. Heck, maybe by this time tomorrow I'll have a boat with a working drop-down! :p
